Rental Agreement

Please read our complete rental agreement and terms of service before completing your booking. By booking a vehicle with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Key Terms Summary

Driver Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Full driver's licence
  • Minimum age requirements apply
  • International licence holders must provide additional documentation
  • If you carry passengers for hire or reward you need a passenger (P) endorsement
  • You also need a P endorsement if you drive a large passenger service vehicle (13 seats or more) – even if you're not being paid for it

Insurance & Bond

  • Insurance coverage is mandatory at $35/day
  • For drivers 25 years and over, the insurance excess is $1500 plus GST
  • Refundable bond of $600 required for all rentals
  • Bond is refunded after the journey if vehicle is returned in original condition
  • Bond refunds: Processed Monday to Wednesday only (no weekend refunds)
  • Refund processing: All refunds will be processed within 5 working business days

Pickup & Return

  • Default pickup/return location: Papakura
  • Other Auckland locations available upon request (subject to availability confirmation)
  • Latest return time: 6:00 PM
  • Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pickup
  • Late returns may incur additional charges

Vehicle Condition

  • All vehicles are provided clean and must be returned clean
  • Cleaning fee: $30.00 if vehicle is not returned in clean condition
  • Any damage to the vehicle must be reported immediately

Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit policy: After 24 hours of booking, the deposit that is paid will not be refunded
  • Please refer to the full rental agreement for complete cancellation terms
  • Contact us for any booking modifications or cancellations
